Born and raised in the City of Orange to Mexican Immigrant parents. I studied political science, law, and journalism at Santa Ana College and later transferred to Cal State Long Beach, where I graduated with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Journalism.

I’ve been deeply interested in news and politics since I was about 12 years old, but it was my professors at Santa Ana College, CSULB and various other organizers, mentoring me who truly sharpened that passion.

I’ve worked across Orange County in several types of jobs: retail, restaurants, markets, fast food, entertainment, and some organizing spaces. These workplaces often demonstrated the various economic struggles in our society.

These experiences have motivated me to share people’s stories.
